Someone sent this around in one of those chain emails. It caught my eye:
Everything can change in the blink of an eye, but don't worry, God never blinks.
I think it is well worded, and expresses a thought that we need to remember. Here is the original source:
Psalms 121: 3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
Be Blessed,
Pastor Albert
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea."
Psalms 46:1,2
Email Newsletter(s) X2: To my dismay, I found that when I send this out by ‘Mail Chimp’ that as many as 50 email addresses are missing. So, I am also sending this out through my regular, personal email account. You might get two. Please don’t worry, that is a temporary fix, Becky, church secretary, is working hard to update our various directories into one.
100 Days of Prayer
The General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is inviting the World-wide Church to pray. See an excerpt from their website below.
"For many months now, plans have been in process for a very special prayer initiative called 100 Days of Prayer. We believe God orchestrated the timing for the 100 Days of Prayer far in advance. This prayer initiative, scheduled to run March 27 – July 4, 2020, was originally intended to focus on praying for the Holy Spirit outpouring on the 2020 General Conference Session in Indianapolis. However, with the Coronavirus pandemic sweeping our world, and with many unsettling events now taking place, what better time to be pressing together as a church in prayer as we seek strength in time of crisis, as well as Holy Spirit power for the mission before us." 100 Days of Prayer website.
Our Southern California Conference will begin a prayer line for those who would like to participate in a more corporate way. In the meantime, we are inviting our Rolling Hills Church members to sign up for the daily prayer focus which will be sent directly to your electronic devices. https://www.revivalandreformation.org/100days
We would encourage you to pray:
• Individually
• as a family
• with prayer partners
• as a church family Call in number (435) 777-2200 call ID number 202077 at 1:00 PM daily.
This a wonderful opportunity to pray in unity for the outpouring of God’s Spirit on our families, our church, our country and our world. We have a HOPE, the world needs to know His name is, Jesus and He is coming soon!
We must be much in prayer if we would make progress in the divine life. When the message of truth was first proclaimed, how much we prayed. How often was the voice of intercession heard in the chamber, in the barn, in the orchard, or the grove? Frequently we spent hours in earnest prayer, two or three together claiming the promise; often the sound of weeping was heard and then the voice of thanksgiving and the song of praise. Now the day of God is nearer than when we first believed, and we should be more earnest, more zealous, and fervent than in those early days. Our perils are greater now than then. Souls are more hardened. We need now to be imbued with the Spirit of Christ, and we should not rest until we receive it. –Testimonies to the Church, vol. 5, p. 161, 162

Yes, we have a team that is calling every member to make sure that everyone has at least one phone call. We are asking them next week to reach out for the second round. That means that someone in your family, at least, will get a call. Please let us know your needs.
